A lot can be said of Ann Arbor based producer Tadd Mullinix. Whether he’s dropping amazing hip-hop beats a Dabyre, melting the speakers as Sk-1, or heating up the dancefloor as James T. Cotton, it would seem he possesses the Midas touch in a wide variety of electronic music genres. I have been a huge fan of the music he’s released under his James T. Cotton/J.T.C moniker over the last couple of years. From the jackin’ dance floor gem “On Time” to the driving Detroit fused sound of “Beat Ya!”, this dude has blown us away with a slew of singles and albums. Now it looks like he’s poised to melt our faces off again when his new album “Creep Acid” drops this April on Nation. Check out a brief interview with RA here, where he talks briefly about his afinity for analog gear and production.
