Hello my friends.  We are very ecstatic to bring you this episode of our podcast.  This particular one is a milestone for us in many ways.  First being we are featuring our first interview, with Detroit’s Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale.  She stopped by the studio last week and dropped some knowledge on us as well as a hot mix.  With Hotwaxx being a part of her name we were interested in her opinion on the vinyl vs. digital debate as well as some other topics.  She just got back from the Winter Music Conference as well as a show at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.  The show entitled “Black Women Rock”  had many successful musicians that Ms. Hotwaxx got to work with and in this episode we get a little insight into that experience.  Staying true to our core traditions, you can also expect some hot tracks acquired by Alex and I.  This time we’re focusing on newer Detroit House and Techno from 2007 to now.  Expect some Planet E, some Transmat, and also a new track from Codine released by the Blank Artists.  This is my favorite podcast so far and hope you like it also.  Check it out!
