Hi folks, Walter Glasshouse here with another edition of Detroit’s party list for this weekend. Make sure to stop here every Thursday after 4pm to see what’s poppin.


Law abiding citizens @ The TV Bar (2548 Grand River Ave, Detroit, Mi) $5 all night . For those that don’t know, Law Abiding Citizens is a trio of electronic music staples in Detroit. Made up of krisko, e.spleece, and john johr, this is a combo you have to check out .


Radio Skool Presents : Davide Squillace @ The Works (1846 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI). Tickets are $10 in advance and can be found HERE, $15 at the door. Also Performing alongside Davide will be Detroit’s own Stacey Pullen, Mike Brown, Daniel Andres, Jesse James, Calico, and Serax. The Radio Skool crew joins forces with the Nightsneak crew to bring an official movement pre-party that is sure to be a banger!

G3nius presents: Maceo Plex @ New Center Park (Outdoors-2998 W. Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI (corner of Second Ave) 6pm -12am. Advance tix are $10 and can be found HERE. Also performing at this event will be 2 collaborative sets: Dan Bain vs Punisher, and Daniel Andres vs Ari Frank. This event is for a great cause with all proceeds going to the Colin Hubbell Memorial Fund, which is dedicated to the development of the Detroit business community. Come out and party under the sun!


Backpacking For Success with Juan Atkins and James Pennington @ New Center Park (2998 W. Grand Boulevard (corner of Second Ave). This event runs from 12pm-12am, admission is a backpack filled with school supplies to help support Detroit’s youth. This is a family charity event, so we invite all to come out and support this great cause. Also perfoming are Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, Mike Brown, T. Linder, and Dan Bain. Detroit legends getting down in the name of education, what more could you want? Go!

Lastly, Bass Dubauchery: Chix Mixx featuring Dirty Talk. All Girl line-up Dub-step party @ The Works (1846 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI). Yaay!
