Thursday June 23
Some Strange w/ Dj Chilly Chill and DJ No-Mind @ Grasshopper (formerly gracies underground) 22757 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale, MI. No cover. This will be a unique night of musical stylings ranging from old-school hip-hop to funk, to electronic, and even some acid-bass. If you haven’t checked out the fresh vibe here, then this is a great opportunity to see a new spot… Great vibe, funky music, good drinks.

Funk Night w/ Diamond D (D.I.T.C.) @ 3515 Caniff Hamtramck, MI (Formerly Motor Lounge). Admission is $5 for 21+ and $10 for under 21. Also performing are funk night resident DJs: Dez, Frank Raines, Psycho, and Eastside Jon. All vinyl all night. Enough said. Go.

Saturday June 25

Play Me Bass Monster Tour w/Reid Speed, Fs, Cyberotpics @ The Works (Detroit, MI). 18 and up, $15 before 12am, $20 after. Tons of dubstep provided by tons of DJs. Epic.
Jeffrey Woodward benefit @ The Old Miami (3930 Cass, Detroit, MI). $5 before 9pm, $10 after, 21 and up. Also performing Brian Gillespie, DJ Seoul, E. Spleece, Vinsanity, Calico, Jhef Banks & Dalouda, T. linder, Harvey from Detroit, Tom Kronik, Jay Biggs, Dj Spin Detroit.
