In an age where virtual instruments are dominating the synth market, it is good to see companies like Elektron producing analog gear like the new Analog Four. With it comes a price though, which is the very reason VST’s have taken over. The Analog Four will set you back $1099. Is it worth it?

If you are in the market for an analog synth, then this could vary well be just what you need. Although this sounds amazing, the reason to choose it over another would be for it’s workflow. Elektron’s machines are incredibly fun to use and you can easily morph sounds into completely new territory. They are inspiring pieces of gear that just scream at you to tweak.

Check out a couple videos below and see if it is something that would work in your arsenal.
